Mental Focus: Equilibrium
We all have different areas of our lives. Sometimes, it becomes hard to maintain balance between all areas which may lead to loss of mental equilibrium. At that time, it becomes valuable to stop thinking long ahead but take small steps towards our goals in each area of our life. It gives the mind a state of equilibrium at that moment and a sense of peace and completion.
The invitation for this week is to create equilibrium in all areas of our life especially the areas in which we feel there is a loss of balance, and see the value of equilibrium in our lives.
Mountains should be climbed with as little effort as possible and without desire. The reality of your own nature should determine the speed. If you become restless, speed up. If you become winded, slow down. You climb the mountain in an equilibrium between restlessness and exhaustion. Then, when you’re no longer thinking ahead, each footstep isn’t just a means to an end, but a unique event in itself.
