The Choi Tae Kwon Do Club of the University of Wisconsin, Madison was started by Jack Nitschke and Carmen Alonso in 1998 after moving from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The club already has grown large with an average practice receiving thirty or more participants. The club is dedicated to promoting individual growth through a non-competitive environment.
